Moorestown Council News in Brief: What Was Approved Monday Night?
What ordinances and resolutions were approved by Moorestown Council during Monday’s meeting?
Moorestown, NJ — Moorestown Council approved a proposed ordinance on introduction and seven consent agenda resolutions during Monday night’s council meeting at town hall.
Council unanimously approved a proposed ordinance to install a mid-block crosswalk that connects the Second Baptist Church, 319 Mill Street, to the adjacent parking lot that was approved for the church in 2010.
Council needed to approve the mid-block crosswalk because they are required to be codified in township code.
The crosswalk will stretch from a spot 62 feet north of the northerly curb line of Beech Street to a point six feet north.
The second reading and public hearing will take place at the April 11 council meeting.
